our story
packaged, not processed.
ticatoe started with a simple, slightly annoyed question at 7am on a school morning: “what do i pack in the tiffin today?” Every packaged option was either sugar in disguise or a label that needed a chemistry degree to read.
So we made the thing we wished existed — a tiffin bar built from kitchen ingredients (dates, nuts, oats, a little fruit and cocoa), with no refined sugar, no maida, and nothing you couldn't pronounce. Small enough for a lunchbox, honest enough for a parent, tasty enough that a kid actually finishes it.
one tiffin bar for every school day
We sell in packs of five, because that's how a school week works — monday to friday, sorted in one box, without the sunday-night scramble.
the parent test
Every tiffin bar has to pass two questions before it ships: would you give it to your own child? and would your child eat it without being asked twice? Pass both, or it doesn't make the cut.
We started Ticatoe with a simple thought: we wanted easy, everyday snack options for our kids that were as close as possible to what we would make for them at home, if only we always had the time.
Because being a parent comes with a hundred little decisions every day. And one of the most persistent ones is: “What do I pack in the tiffin today?”
Through Ticatoe, we want to make that one decision a little easier for parents - with convenient snacks made from ingredients you'd recognise from your own kitchen, for the school days when you need one less thing to think about.
Five bars. Five school days. Sorted.
